Mouse Kallikrein 1 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse Kallikrein 1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Tissue Kallikrein in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for Tissue Kallikrein that is pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where Tissue Kallikrein present in each sample is captured by the immobilised antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Tissue Kallikrein Antibody is added, which binds the captured analyte. An HRP-Avidin conjugate is then added and the plate incubated. After further washing, TMB substrate solution is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution.

The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Tissue Kallikrein captured in each well. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve. The reported sensitivity is <7.52 pg/ml and the assay range is 18.7–1200 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated microplate platform. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
