From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse IQ Motif Containing GTPase Activating Protein 1 (IQGAP1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, with detection performed colorimetrically by reading the optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of 0.136 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The validated sample types include serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and cell lysates. For tissue and cell lysate preparations, the protocol advises that total protein concentration per well should not exceed 0.3 mg.

The procedure follows a standard sandwich immunoassay workflow: samples are incubated on the pre-coated plate, followed by a biotinylated anti-IQGAP1 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution, and the intensity of the resulting yellow colour is proportional to the IQGAP1 concentration. Provided kit reagents include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers, all stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
