Mouse Interleukin 31 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Interleukin 31 (IL-31). The assay accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with biotinylated anti-IL-31 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the colourmetric reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The stated working range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.1 pg/ml, and the protocol takes 4h 30m. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spike-and-recovery testing (n=5) gave mean recoveries of 91% in serum (range 83-100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 91-98%), and 94% in heparin plasma (range 90-99%). Dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 gave ranges of 78-102% to 86-97% for serum, 95-103% to 88-107% for EDTA plasma, and 74-101% to 84-102% for heparin plasma.
