Mouse Interleukin 23 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse IL-23 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IL-23. Standards and samples are added to the wells, the plate is washed, and a Biotinylated Anti-IL-23 Antibody is then applied, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. After further incubation and washing, a TMB substrate solution is added; the enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and IL-23 concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

According to the manufacturer's specification, the assay has a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5.1 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported mean recovery values are 91% for serum (range 83%-100%, n=5), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 90%-103%, n=5), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 90%-99%, n=5).

Kit components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, with storage temperatures specified per component between +4°C and -20°C.
