Mouse Interleukin 22 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Interleukin 22 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where IL-22 is captured by the immobilised antibody; bound analyte is then detected with a biotinylated anti-IL-22 antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of <6.2 pg/ml and a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), average recoveries were 91% for serum (range 83-100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 90-103%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 90-99%). Across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, recoveries in serum ranged 82-108%, in EDTA plasma 72-107%, and in heparin plasma 84-108%.
