Mouse Interleukin 21 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Interleukin-21 (IL-21). The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate and uses a biotinylated anti-IL-21 detection antibody with an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm.

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and cell culture supernates, the assay has a reported sensitivity of <6.9 pg/ml and a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Mean recovery in serum is 91% (n=5, range 83-100%), in EDTA plasma 96% (n=5, range 90-103%) and in heparin plasma 94% (n=5, range 90-99%). The assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader and the total run time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The immobilized capture antibody is specific for IL-21, enabling quantitative measurement of the cytokine across a range of biological sample matrices.
