Mouse Interleukin 20 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Interleukin 20 (IL-20) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for IL-20 pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are added into the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-IL-20 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Visualisation is achieved using a TMB substrate solution, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of stop solution, with the density of yellow proportional to IL-20 concentration measured at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance figures from the manufacturer indicate a sensitivity of <5.9 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Average recovery values are reported at 91% for serum (n=5, range 83-100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90-103%) and 94% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 90-99%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is provided for each sample type. Total assay time is 4h 30m and detection is colorimetric, performed on a microplate reader. Storage is at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
