Mouse Interleukin 19 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Interleukin 19 (IL-19) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IL-19. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-IL-19 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow on addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The assay has a quantitative range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.3 pg/ml. Total run time is 4 hours 30 minutes, performed on a pre-coated microplate platform of 12 x 8 well strips. The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates.

Validation data (n=5) showed mean recovery of 91% in serum (range 83-100%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90-103%) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89-102%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same three sample types.
