Mouse Interleukin 17F ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse IL-17F ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Interleukin 17F in serum, plasma or other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) bearing an antibody specific for IL-17F. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-IL-17F Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with visualisation via TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with IL-17F concentration calculated against the standard curve. Detection is colorimetric, the assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, the measurement range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml, and sensitivity is 5.6 pg/ml.

Reported spike-and-recovery (average, n=5): serum 91% (range 83–100%), EDTA plasma 95% (range 91–100%), heparin plasma 96% (range 91–101%). Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), Wash Buffer 30X (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and plate sealers.
