Mouse Interleukin 1 Receptor Type II ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse IL-1R-2 (Interleukin 1 Receptor Type II) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The quantitative immunoassay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows a sandwich format in which a biotinylated anti-IL-1R-2 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate combine with TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Sensitivity is <11.38 pg/ml and the working range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery in serum averaged 91% (range 80–102%), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81–100%), and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80–89%), with n=5 per matrix.
