Mouse Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist ELISA Kit

A quantitative sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro measurement of mouse IL-1RA in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-IL-1RA detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate visualised using TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of IL-1RA is calculated by reference to a standard curve. The reported assay range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 11.2 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated and should not be used past the expiration date. Reported values across sample matrices (n=5) were 80-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Diluted samples at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 showed values of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
