Mouse Interleukin 1 Family, Member 9 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse IL-36 gamma/IL-1F9 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. An antibody specific for IL-36 gamma/IL-1F9 is immobilised on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-IL-36 gamma/IL-1F9 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with bound analyte visualised using TMB substrate that yields a yellow product after addition of stop solution.

The reported product range is 7.81–500 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <2.6 pg/ml. Spiked recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity upon dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5). Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
