Mouse Interferon Gamma ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Interferon gamma in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and the sandwich immunoassay technique: an immobilised antibody captures Interferon gamma from standards and samples, a biotinylated anti-Interferon gamma antibody binds the captured analyte, and an HRP–avidin conjugate with TMB substrate produces a yellow colour whose intensity is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a reported sensitivity of <5.3 pg/ml, and the protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 has been verified for the same three sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
