Mouse Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the quantitative determination of mouse Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 2 (ICAM2) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an ICAM2-specific capture antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and bound ICAM2 is detected using a biotinylated anti-ICAM2 antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is measured at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 0.071 ng/ml and a standard curve range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Spike-and-recovery validation (n=5) gave ranges of 80%–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for each sample type are also included in the product documentation.
