Mouse Intelectin 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Intelectin 1 (ITLN1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) with a capture antibody specific for ITLN1, in conjunction with a biotinylated anti-ITLN1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate.

Detection is colourimetric, with TMB substrate producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The standard assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported sensitivity is <0.9 pg/ml with an assay range of 2.5–160 pg/ml. Spiking recovery was 80–102% in serum (average 91%, n=5), 81–100% in EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5) and 80–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5). Linearity was demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
