Mouse Integrin Beta 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Integrin beta 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Integrin beta 3. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the target analyte binds to the immobilised antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Integrin beta 3 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution.

The intensity of yellow is proportional to the amount of Integrin beta 3 captured in each well, and concentration is calculated by reading O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader against a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is <13.5 pg/ml, with an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml. Detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.
