Mouse Insulin Like Protein 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse INSL3 (Insulin Like Protein 3) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for INSL3 immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-INSL3 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, stopped with acidic stop solution, and the absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components (lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers) are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

The assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.3 pg/ml. Reported ranges and averages across n=5 samples are 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Values at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) for serum are 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% respectively, for EDTA plasma 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%, and for heparin plasma 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.
