Mouse Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 7 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 7 (IGFBP7) sandwich ELISA is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse IGFBP7 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance is supported by a product standard range of 6.25–400 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <2.34 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The protocol uses an immobilised anti-IGFBP7 capture antibody, a biotinylated anti-IGFBP7 detection antibody and HRP-Avidin with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow on addition of stop solution; absorbance at 450 nm is then read against the standard curve.

Reported recovery values across n=5 samples are 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–101% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma, with linearity data supplied for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions of each matrix. Kit components are supplied for storage at +4°C or –20°C as indicated in the manual.
