Mouse Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit supplied by Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 1 (IGFBP1) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for IGFBP1; standards and test samples are added, then a biotinylated anti-IGFBP1 detection antibody is applied, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader to calculate IGFBP1 concentration from the standard curve.

Specifications include a quantitative assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.058 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes on a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 × 8 well strips. Spike-and-recovery validation shows ranges of 80–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81–101% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma, with linearity assessed at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
