Mouse Inhibin Binding Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Inhibin Binding Protein (INHBP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for INHBP is pre-coated onto the microplate; bound analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-INHBP antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, with visualisation via TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Quantified against a standard curve, the assay covers a measuring range of 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.195 ng/ml. The full procedure takes 4 hours 30 minutes on a pre-coated microplate format (12 x 8 well strips) read on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Kit components, stored at +4°C or -20°C as labelled, comprise a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 μl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Reported mean recovery from n=5 samples per matrix was 91% (serum, range 80–102%), 90% (EDTA plasma, range 81–100%) and 84% (heparin plasma, range 80–89%).
