Mouse IL7 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables in vitro quantitative determination of mouse IL-7 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is completed in 4 hours on a pre-coated microplate using colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. Manufacturer specifications list a sensitivity of < 1 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml in one document, and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL with a product range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL in another. The kit is specific for IL-7 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing. Reported recovery values average 97% for serum (range 86-103%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 87-104%), and 97% for heparin plasma (range 92-104%). Dilution linearity is reported as 87-95% (1:2), 84-101% (1:4) and 81-100% (1:8) for serum; 86-96%, 91-99% and 88-99% for EDTA plasma; and 85-99%, 81-99% and 86-101% for heparin plasma. The kit is shipped at +4°C; components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
