Mouse IL-21 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, the Mouse IL-21 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse IL-21 in biological samples. The kit is reactive with mouse IL-21 and the manufacturer reports no significant cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

The assay accommodates multiple sample types, including cell culture supernatant, serum, plasma, cell or tissue lysate, and other biological fluids. A pre-coated microplate is supplied, and an available QuickRun format reduces the workflow to approximately 2 hours. Detection is colorimetric, using a biotinylated detection antibody with HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Across the available formats the assay range is 31.25-2000 pg/ml. Reported sensitivity is 0.58 pg/ml for the standard format and 18.75 pg/ml for the QuickRun format. Internal recovery from serum averages 96%, with EDTA plasma recovery at 96% and heparin plasma at 98% in the QuickRun format. The kit recognises both native and recombinant mouse IL-21. Components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C, with select components stored at -20°C per the protocol manual; the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
