Mouse IL-15 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse IL-15 in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma. The assay uses a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay format in which a monoclonal antibody specific for mouse IL-15/IL-15R is immobilized onto microwells, followed by addition of a biotin-linked detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP for colorimetric readout on a microplate platform.

The kit can assay both native and recombinant mouse IL-15 and has shown no significant cross-reactivity. The product range is 7.81 - 500 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 0.65 pg/ml. Average recovery from serum samples is 101%. Components should be stored at +4°C and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Detection is colorimetric, with the optical density value measured by a microplate reader after addition of a stop solution, making the workflow suitable for quantitative measurement of mouse IL-15/IL-15R in research samples.
