Mouse IL-13 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this assay kit is a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro determination of mouse IL-13 in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. A monoclonal antibody specific for mouse IL-13 is immobilized onto microwells. Standards or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by the addition of a biotin-linked monoclonal detection antibody specific for IL-13. After incubation and removal of any unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP is added. The substrate solution reacts with HRP and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL-13 bound. The color development is stopped by addition of acid and the optical density value is measured by a microplate reader.

The Mouse IL-13 ELISA Kit has a product range of 7.81 - 500 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 1.17 pg/ml. It shows no significant cross-reactivity and can assay both native and recombinant mouse IL-13. Average recovery from serum samples is reported as 102%. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform, and the kit should be stored at +4°C and not used past the expiration date.
