Mouse IL-12 p40 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse IL-12 p40 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of mouse IL-12 p40 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids.

Run as a 4-hour colorimetric microplate assay read at 450 nm, the kit uses a pre-coated capture antibody together with a biotinylated detection antibody to form an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich. One manufacturer specification gives a sensitivity of <0.25 pg/ml with an assay range of 4.69–300 pg/ml, while another manufacturer specification lists a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL with a product range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Cross-reactivity testing indicates specificity for IL-12 p40 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

Components are shipped at +4°C and should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as directed in the protocol manual, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The kit is not to be used past the stated expiration date.
