Mouse IL-10 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of mouse IL-10 in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. The assay format uses a monoclonal antibody specific for mouse IL-10 immobilized on microwells. Standards or samples are pipetted into the wells, followed by a biotin-linked monoclonal detection antibody specific for IL-10. After incubation and removal of unbound substances, streptavidin-HRP is added, and a substrate solution reacts with HRP to produce colour proportional to the amount of IL-10 bound. Colour development is stopped with acid and the optical density is measured on a microplate reader.

Reactivity is with mouse samples, and the kit shows no significant cross-reactivity. It can assay both native and recombinant mouse IL-10. Reported sensitivity is 4.8 pg/ml, with an assay range of 62.50 - 4000 pg/ml. Average recovery from serum samples is stated as 97%. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform. Components are stored at +4°C and should not be used past the expiration date.
