Mouse Huntingtin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Huntingtin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate and uses a colorimetric readout read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Sensitivity is 0.055 ng/ml and the standard curve covers a range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The detection system uses a biotinylated anti-Huntingtin antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow colour whose absorbance is proportional to Huntingtin concentration. Reported average recovery is 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%), with linearity data provided across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for each sample type.
