Mouse Homing Associated Cell Adhesion Molecule ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse CD44 (Homing Associated Cell Adhesion Molecule) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a sandwich immunoassay format in which an antibody specific for CD44 is pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are added to the wells and the captured CD44 is detected sequentially using a Biotinylated Anti-CD44 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of CD44 captured, and the concentration is calculated from the optical density read at 450 nm in a microplate reader against the standard curve.

The reported assay sensitivity is <29 pg/ml with a quantitative range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed. The product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
