Mouse Histone Deacetylase 6 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse Histone Deacetylase 6 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse HDAC6 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses an HDAC6-specific antibody pre-coated onto a microplate; standards and samples are added, captured HDAC6 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-HDAC6 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, and the colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative detection range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is suitable for cell lysates, tissue homogenates, and cell culture supernates. Recovery has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma: average recoveries of 91%, 90%, and 84% were obtained, with individual sample ranges of 80–102%, 81–100%, and 80–89% respectively. Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions in each matrix.
