Mouse Histamine Receptor H4 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA), supplied by Antibodies.com, is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Histamine Receptor H4 (H4R) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged in 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for H4R immobilised on the plate to capture target from standards and test samples. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-H4R Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and H4R concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.051 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported average recovery values include 91% for serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5), with linearity assessed across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in each matrix.
