Mouse High Density Lipoprotein ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit for the quantitative in vitro determination of mouse high-density lipoprotein (HDL) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated microplate with an anti-HDL capture antibody. Standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-HDL detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used for visualisation, and absorbance is read at 450 nm with concentration calculated against the standard curve. Sensitivity is <0.38 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.781-50 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Manufacturer validation (n=5) shows recovery in spiked samples across matrices (serum 80%-102% with average 91%, EDTA plasma 81%-100% with average 90%, heparin plasma 80%-89% with average 84%) and linearity of dilution evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components include a lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol.
