Mouse Hexosaminidase B Beta ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as part of their Assays and Kits range, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Hexosaminidase B Beta (HEXB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for HEXB. Standards and test samples are added to the wells where HEXB binds to the immobilised capture antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-HEXB antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration of HEXB is calculated against the standard curve. Reported sensitivity is 0.118 ng/ml and the measuring range is 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery values reported in the manufacturer data are: serum 80-102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma 81-100% averaging 90%, and heparin plasma 80-89% averaging 84%.
