Mouse Hexosaminidase A Alpha ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Mouse HEXA ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse HEXA in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for HEXA is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-HEXA antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <0.051 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m.

Average sample recovery values are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
