Mouse Hepatocyte Growth Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF). The kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with HGF captured by an immobilised antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-HGF antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the HGF concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The assay has a working range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.2 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery across sample matrices includes average values of 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5 each). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
