Mouse Heme Oxygenase 1, Decycling ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Heme Oxygenase 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids.

An antibody specific for Heme Oxygenase 1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Heme Oxygenase 1 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

The product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml and the sensitivity is 6.3 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Recovery ranges are 80-102% for serum (n=5, average 91%), 81-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%) and 80-89% for heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%). Reported dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 spans 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
