Mouse Hedgehog Interacting Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Hedgehog Interacting Protein (HHIP) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The plate is supplied as a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where HHIP is captured by the immobilised antibody. Following washing, a biotinylated anti-HHIP antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed using TMB substrate and the optical density is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.062 ng/ml, with a quantitative assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Linearity of dilution has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Most reagents are stored at -20°C, while the wash buffer, TMB substrate and stop solution are stored at +4°C. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
