Mouse Hedgehog Homolog, Indian ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com, this kit enables quantitative in vitro measurement of mouse Hedgehog Homolog, Indian (Ihh) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for Ihh is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and detection proceeds via a biotinylated anti-Ihh antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm and concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery in serum (n=5) is 80–102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89% (average 84%). Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions spans 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
