Mouse Heat Shock Protein Beta 6 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse HSP20 (Heat Shock Protein Beta 6) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for HSP20. Captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-HSP20 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.067 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Manufacturer-reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (n=5, range 83–99%), 89% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 80–99%), and 90% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 82–99%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions shows serum recovery of 87–109%, 74–104%, 90–94%, and 86–108%; EDTA plasma 86–101%, 90–101%, 78–110%, and 84–96%; and heparin plasma 90–101%, 77–107%, 93–96%, and 89–109%.
