Mouse Heat Shock Protein 90kDa Beta 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse GRP94 (Heat Shock Protein 90kDa Beta 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for GRP94, a Biotinylated Anti-GRP94 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Following incubation and washing, TMB substrate is added and the resulting colourmetric reaction is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with the concentration of GRP94 calculated by reference to a standard curve. The product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Average recovery in spiked samples (n=5) was 91% for serum (range 83–99%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 80–100%) and 90% for heparin plasma (range 82–99%), with linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Components supplied include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage conditions specified per component.
