Mouse Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 5 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com kit employs a sandwich ELISA format for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse GRP78 BiP, also referred to as Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 5. The assay runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the target protein is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated detection antibody binds the captured analyte, and an HRP conjugate is added. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration of GRP78 BiP is calculated against a standard curve.
