Mouse Heat Shock 27kDa Protein 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Heat Shock 27kDa Protein 1 (HSP27) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for HSP27 and is supplied as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and HSP27 present in each sample is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-HSP27 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Following further incubation and washing, TMB substrate is used to visualize the reaction; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and HSP27 concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The standard curve covers a product range of 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.36 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.

Reported neat-sample recovery (n=5) is 80–102% (Serum, average 91%), 81–100% (EDTA Plasma, average 90%) and 80–89% (Heparin Plasma, average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for Serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA Plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for Heparin Plasma.
