Mouse Growth Regulated Oncogene Gamma ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Growth Regulated Oncogene Gamma (GRO gamma). The kit is reactive with mouse samples and is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for GRO gamma. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-GRO gamma Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

Performance characteristics include a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <25 pg/ml. Reported recovery values are 80%-102% (average 91%, n=5) for serum, 81%-100% (average 90%, n=5) for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%, n=5) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity has been characterised across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions. Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
