Mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 5 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 5 (GDF 5) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate format. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where GDF 5 binds the immobilized capture antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-GDF 5 detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP conjugate and TMB substrate to produce a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The concentration of GDF 5 is determined by reference to the standard curve.

The reported detection range is 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.065 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
