Mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro measurement of mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 3 (GDF3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

The kit uses a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised anti-GDF3 capture antibody; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-GDF3 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is 6.4 pg/ml and the assay range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery was validated in serum (average 91%, range 80-102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81-100%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80-89%), and dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these matrices.
