Mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 2 (BMP9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-BMP9 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, stopped with an acidic stop solution, and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml, a standard range of 12.5–800 pg/ml and an assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed. Recovery data: serum (n=5) 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 81%–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 80%–89% (average 84%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma (each n=5).
