Mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 11 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 11 (GDF11) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) carrying an immobilised capture antibody specific for GDF11, together with a Biotinylated Anti-GDF11 detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate solution for colorimetric visualisation at 450 nm.

The assay has a stated range of 3.12-200 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 1.39 pg/ml, with a total incubation time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validated sample matrices reported by the manufacturer include serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with associated recovery and dilution linearity data. Sample GDF11 concentration is calculated from the absorbance at 450 nm against a standard curve generated from the supplied lyophilised standards. The plate is read on a colorimetric microplate reader and reagent components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol.
