Mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Growth Differentiation Factor 1 (GDF1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and the kit is reactive with mouse samples.

The format is a pre-coated 96-well microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with a GDF1-specific capture antibody; following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-GDF1 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction yields a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with colour intensity directly proportional to GDF1 concentration, calculated by reference to a standard curve. The product range is 31.2–2000 pg/ml, the sensitivity is <12.1 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Performance figures are reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5), with averages of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively, alongside ranges and dilution data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
