Mouse Growth Associated Protein 43 ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with mouse samples and uses a colourimetric detection method read on a microplate reader at 450 nm. It follows a standard sandwich enzyme immunoassay format, employing a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-GAP43 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate that produces a blue-coloured product changing to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; the yellow intensity is proportional to the amount of GAP43 captured in each well.

The kit is suitable for tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids, and additional recovery data is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. The stated sensitivity is <0.059 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
