Mouse Gremlin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Gremlin 1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses colorimetric detection on a pre-coated microplate platform consisting of 12 x 8 well strips, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The reported assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.061 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

The procedure employs a biotinylated anti-Gremlin 1 detection antibody and HRP-avidin, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to Gremlin 1 concentration in each well. Standards and samples are quantified against a standard curve. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Validation data (n=5 per matrix) report recovery averages of 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions gave ranges of 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.
