Mouse Granulin ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse Granulin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a Biotinylated Anti-Granulin Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate detected via TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

Stated performance characteristics include a measurement range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.56 ng/ml. Reported spike-and-recovery values (n=5) are 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is given as 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.

Kit components are a Pre-Coated 96 Well Microplate (12 x 8 well strips), 2 vials of Lyophilized Standard, 120 μl of Detection Solution A, 120 μl of Detection Solution B, 20 ml of 30X Wash Buffer, 45 ml of Sample Dilution Buffer, 9 ml of TMB Substrate, 6 ml of Stop Solution and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored between +4°C and -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
